  1. Present your valid MedAsia Philippines membership card during medical availment in any accredited healthcare facilities.

  3. All cashless medical availment should have a corresponding Letter of Authorization (LOA).
  4. MedAsia Philippines has established network of doctors and healthcare facilities nationwide that would provide medical services to members on a cashless basis and at reasonable rates.
  5. Our Medical Coordinators can assist you during medical availment to ensure that you are referred to the appropriate medical specialist. If confinement is necessary, you have the option to be admitted under the service of our Medical Coordinator or your preferred physician.
  1. Member should present valid MedAsia membership card for verification prior to availment and secure corresponding  Letter of Authorization (LOA)
  2. The MedAsia Medical Coordinator will carry out initial consultation and treatment or make the necessary referral to another specialist for further evaluation and treatment.
  3. Member should secure a Letter of Authorization (LOA) for any laboratory/diagnostic examination requested by MedAsia accredited specialist.

  1. Member presents MedAsia membership card at the emergency room.
  2. Emergency room physician makes initial evaluation and treatment.
  3. ER Personnel or member to inform MedAsia of such availment and secure corresponding Letter of Authorization (LOA).
  4. The hospital cashier shall collect from the member excess amount not covered by the Letter of Authorization (LOA) prior to discharge from the emergency room.
  5. Member to sign the hospital emergency room form as to acknowledge the service rendered prior to discharge.
  6. If member is for confinement, ER Physician shall inform MedAsia Medical Coordinator or preferred physician of the member of such confinement under his/her service as attending physician.
  1. MedAsia Medical Coordinator shall issue admitting order to the member.
  2. The member presents MedAsia membership card and admitting order to the admission’s office for confinement in a room based on the member’s medical insurance policy.
  3. The MedAsia Medical Coordinator or preferred physician of the member shall serve as the attending physician to ensure adequate treatment and make the necessary referral to specialists.
  4. The hospital admission’s office or MedAsia Medical Coordinator shall inform MedAsia at such admission within 24 hours for membership verification and issuance of Approval Code or Letter of Authorization (LOA) based on the medical coverage limits of the member.
  5. The MedAsia Liaison Officer or Customer Service Associate will contact the confined member in hospitals to explain their medical benefit limits and any hospital charges not covered by the member’s medical insurance policy.
  6. The member is advised to secure and submit duly accomplished Philhealth forms if applicable prior to settling of hospital bill and sign original statement of account to acknowledge charges incurred during hospital confinement.
